Rebecca Auerbach is a multi award-winning actor, playwright, and musician, based in Toronto.

Her new solo show Discount Dave and the Fix, with acclaimed director Aviva Armour-Ostroff (The Drawer Boy, Lune), premiered at The Edmonton Fringe Festival in August of 2024 and continues development with a Toronto premiere in 2025.

As a playwright, Auerbach’s first full-length work Your Side, my Side, and the Truth earned critical acclaim at Toronto’s Summerworks Festival. She also co-created, co-composed and starred in The Pigeon King (Blyth Festival/National Arts Centre) and co-created Christmas Comes To Mind with Juno-Award-winning artist J.D. Nicholsen, commissioned for 4th Line theatre’s 2021 season.

Auerbach is known for her voice work, playing “Aunt Jenny” in the animated series Riley Rocket (Sphere Media/Oasis Animation) while voicing numerous audiobooks, commercials and video games on the regular — alongside her TV and film roles.
